Diet Menu : Foods : recipe : Indian Yellow Rice
This is the healthy menu and really good for who need a good food for his/her dieting.
This food is come from India but it widely popular to all over the world. This menu should give you more of protein and low of carbohydrate but can’t tell you the exactly the nutrition info. Now we going to explain how to cook this menu with easy step I hope you can do it.
The ingredients
- Ghee : 3Tbs
- Turmeric : 1md
- Onion : ½ tsp
- Cloves : 4
- Bay leaves : 2
- Black peppercorns : 4
- cinnamon sticks : 1
- Black cardamom pods : 2
- Brown rice, presoaked : 2 cups
- Water : 1/3 cup
- Gren peas : 3 Tbs
- Salt : 1 tsp
- Saffron : 1 pinch
Cooking Steps
Use pan to heat ghee and onion with a medium heat for 3-5 minutes. Keep some of the onion for dressing later.
Put Turmeric to the pan only and make it mix well then put the rest of spices.
Put the rice and stir for 2-3 minutes then add water and wait until its boil. Lower the heat and put salt, peas, cover and cook for 12-15 minutes. Sprinkle with reserve onion and some of saffron.
